Co-hosted with the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center at Stanford University, the conference has the aim to spur progress toward the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the Asia-Pacific region
Future Plans
From 2022 through 2026, we are scheduled to travel to Asia-Pacific countries and stimulate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by fostering dialogues and partnerships among government heads, academics, and experts in the region with one of the 17 Goals as a topic.
Project Description
A two-day conference will be held for the implementation of sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region. On the first day, there will be sessions covering opening remarks, global leadership, climate change, multilateralism for achieving SDGs, sustainable development goals in North Korea, and achieving SDGs and the value of nature. On the second day, there will be discussions and presentations by scholars from Ewha Womans University and domestic and international students.
