

Ban Ki-moon Foundation For a Better Future is launching the first SDG Essay Competition for high-school students to encourage their understanding of SDG as global leader of future Sustainable Development agenda

Essays can be submitted by the end of May 2022 and 10 finalists will be awarded a certificate from Mr. Ban Ki-moon on 15 June 2022

Title of the Essay for the Year 2022: “Your Leadership to Make the Net Zero 2050 Vision a Reality”
-
Clear elaboration of your specific ideas to realize Net Zero 2050 will be graded highly
1) Guidelines for Participation

Participants must be High School Students (Including Domestic / International High School)

Essay should be authored by the students themselves.

Only individual entries are admitted. No teams are allowed to take part in the competition
-
Essays shall be submitted in English only
-
Entries must be no longer than 2500 words (excluding footnotes and bibliography)
-
11 pt and Single space
-
Footnotes and bibliography can be included if necessary
-
Essay should be submitted in PDF format

3) Selection Process

All papers will be reviewed and evaluated anonymously by the Panelists appointed by the Ban Ki-moon Foundation in collaboration with GoCambridge<www.gocambridge.org>.
4) Prizes

Up to 10 finalists will be announced on Ki-moon Ban’s official foundation web-site

Finalists will be invited to receive a certificate from Mr. Ban Ki-moon
5) Submission/Winners Announce
